Ozzfest Journal

Well its finally over!!! Heavy metal Summer Camp has finally come to a close, Thanks to all who came out to support Gizmachi on this years Ozzfest!!!! We met so many new people and made some great new friends......... We are sitting here in our hotel room waiting to play our final show of off-dates with Shadows Fall, Bury Your Dead and The Haunted tonight in Towson Maryland on our way home..... There are alot of video games being played and alot of sleep being caught up on, Last night I went to Camden Yards to catch the Baltimore Orioles with some friends in the Shadows Fall camp...... Lots of Beer, Peanuts and shouting profanities took place, I guess thats what happens when you let the boys out on the town!!! Great times, Great times!!!! Here are a couple of highlights from this summers madness................
The first night of Ozzfest we are greeted on our bus by a drunken, butt-assed naked Brian from Black Dahlia Murder....... He made it a point this summer to be as naked as much as possible, even made it in Rolling Stone..... Ha Ha congrats!!!!
Kris went Go-Karting with Trivium and Bury Your Dead........ I believe he happened to be the grand master champion of the races that day, but we will never know who to believe.
Jason and Jimmy were frequent visitors to the Ibanez/Tama tent, I heard Jason beat Jimmy a couple times at double bass!!! Say it aint so Jim!!!! Who ever said guitarists cant play drums!!!
More to Come VERY VERY soon!!!!

Leaving for St. Louis in 14 hours

Hey, Its Jason... just sitting here farting around, trying to get everything ready for our run w/ Byzantine which now starts on July 2nd at "Creepy Crawl" in St Louis, MO. We are all really pumped to be playing the entire record live on this 9 show "mini" tour. We will be playing EVERY SONG from "The Imbuing", so no one will be saying, "I hope they play Wandering Eyes" or "those mother fuckers didnt play Voice of Sanity". Usually we get around 20 minutes to rush through 3 or 4 songs and hope we dont go over our set time. (Thats what we get for writing LLLOOOONNNGGG songs). Hmmm, going from playing a 20 minute set to playing a 50 minute set? Damn!!! This is gonna be the shit. Anyways, I must go now... Xbox is calling. Hope to see all of you soon. Later

Europe/Summer Happenings

Well we just returned to the US after our first European/UK tour and couldnt be happier to be back home. First off we would like to thank all the amazing bands and new friends we made overseas that made our stay a memorable one. The festival shows were amazing as well as the shows with Papa Roach/Helmet and Mastodon............ Late night Artist Lounge invasions with our friends in Shadows Fall became routine, especially when everything is FREE..... from Liquor to Beer...... BAD NEWS........ thats all that needs to be said about that. We will see you all again very soon!!!!!

UNFORTUNATELY our tour with Six Feet Under, Bloodsimple., and Byzantine has been cancelled, but Gizmachi and Byzantine will be teaming up for a two week run from July 1st to July 12. We will be playing "The Imbuing" from front to back!!!!!!!!! Then the time has finaly come for Ozzfest for the remainder of the summer...................then............... Europe again????????????
